Saman Cement Plant participated in the first workshop on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), bringing together government officials, industry representatives, and relevant stakeholders. The workshop discussed CBAM developments, carbon measurement and reduction requirements, and the challenges and opportunities facing Iraq’s cement industry amid the global transition toward a low-carbon economy. The participation reflects Saman Cement Plant’s commitment to sustainability, emissions reduction, and energy efficiency.

Our Controlling and Finance teams in Sulaymaniyah successfully completed a one-week training program covering Cost Standards, Budgeting, and Warehouse Inventory Control. The training focused on enhancing skills in financial planning, cost control, budgeting, and inventory management to support operational excellence.

Saman Cement Plant conducted a two-day technical training program for its Quality and Production teams to strengthen technical knowledge, enhance practical skills, and support continuous improvement in cement quality and production operations.
